Congratulations!

As you are considering a celebrant to lead your wedding ceremony you clearly want something extra special and unique for your big day.  My role is to ensure that you get exactly the style of ceremony that is right for both of you. I will take time to really understand you both and listen to what you both want, gently making suggestions and recommendations if you need them.

Planning a wedding is a lot of fun AND there is a lot to think about. My aim is to relieve any stress from the ceremony part itself allowing you to focus on the guest list, the menu choices and the decor.

  • The three of us meet to discuss your ceremony. This first meeting is complimentary and is your opportunity to decide if I am right to lead your ceremony.  Ideally we will meet in person however we can also do it online.

  • About six months before your wedding day*, I will send you a questionnaire to complete in two stages.  Stage one gives me enough information to write a ceremony outline with suggestions on rituals and staging.

  • Once the outline is approved by you, you have extra time to complete stage two of the questionnaire which is all about your love story. I then use this information to draft the full ceremony.

  • In plenty of time before your big day I  will send you a draft of the ceremony to comment on, amend and then approve.

  • If requested, I can hold a rehearsal so that everyone participating knows what to do, either the day before or earlier on the day of your wedding.

  • On the day I will lead the full ceremony and liaise with the venue and key suppliers to ensure the ceremonial part all runs smoothly.

  • Throughout the process I am available by email or phone to answer any questions and help you as much as you need.

  • Please be aware that celebrants are not registrars, so you will need to do the legal paperwork in a registry office before your wedding ceremony.

*I’m happy to work to shorter timelines if you are in a hurry to get married!

Beth created an oasis of calm for us.
We trusted her implicitly with all things to do with the ceremony.

How to book
  • It is a good idea to meet a few potential celebrants to find the one that feels perfect for both of you.

  • Email me your wedding date and if I am available we can book in a complimentary zoom call, or in person meeting, to discuss your ceremony and what you are looking for.

  • If you then want to go ahead I will ask for a 25% non-refundable deposit to block your wedding date in my diary. I will hold your chosen date until after our first meeting.
